About Us

Our story

We're a small farm in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Ever since Faith was a little girl, she has always had a love for animals, but horses were always her favorite. So one year, I decided to surprise her for Christmas Eve 2021 to take her for her very first horse riding lesson! Boy, I didn't know that that one lesson would turn into weekly lessons. Faith had always been quiet, and those lessons had gotten her out of her "shell." I had talked with the instructor about helping me look for a horse for Faith. One day, I got a call from the instructor. She asked if we could come up to the barn; she's got an abused horse that nobody was able to get near.

It didn't take much; we headed up. We got there and were surprised to see this skinny, abused, scared, white horse who was hiding in the corner to try and stay safe. Faith went up to the window of the stall and just stood there. It was as you saw in the movies. This scared horse came up to Faith and put her head out of the window and let Faith touch her. Their bond was strong from the very get-go. We ended up buying her, and we found out that she was supposed to be getting shipped to the kill pen. We worked many hours, weeks, and months to gain her trust. Faith & Sugar became inseparable. We knew that we needed land for them. We went in with my parents and got this beautiful 9-acre farm.

How'd the Soap Start?

My mom &  daughter have always had sensitive skin. But about 5-6 years ago, my mother started having more problems with her eczema with the products from the stores. I started researching and discovering how overly processed and potentially hazardous the products we use every day on our skin are. I conducted research on the benefits of goat milk for the skin, and I must say, I was surprised!

I knew that Faith had been wanting to join 4-H and show goats. I thought this would be perfect! So, we ended up with Betty & Ellie, along with Slick for our buck. I immediately began making goat soaps, from the milk of our wonderful girl goats.

It's helped my daughter & mom, and I was thrilled. I eventually started gifting some to friends & family, and they loved them also. We started venturing out into new products.
