Our story

Welcome to Wrights Mini Farm in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Our journey began with a simple passion and has grown into a small family farm rooted in love, kindness, and honest hard work.

How it all began

On Christmas Eve in 2021, Faith's journey began with a horseback riding lesson. What started as one lesson quickly turned into weekly visits to the barn. Faith was a quiet, shy little girl, but something about being around horses brought her out of her shell. We began seeing a confidence and happiness in her that was truly special.

Then came Sugar.

One day, Faith's riding instructor contacted us about a white horse who desperately needed someone to give her a chance. Sugar had been abused, was terribly skinny, and was frightened of people. She had been through so much that nobody could get close to her.

But something incredible happened when Faith met Sugar.

As Faith approached her stall, Sugar came over to the window and allowed Faith to touch her. This was something that hadn't been easy for anyone else to do. It was almost as if Sugar knew that Faith was different.

When we learned that Sugar was headed to a kill pen, we knew we couldn't let that happen. We made the decision to bring her into our family.

The journey wasn't easy. Sugar had a lot of fear to overcome, and earning her trust took hours, weeks, and months of patience. But Faith never gave up on her. The two spent countless hours together, building a bond that words could never fully explain.

In many ways, they helped heal each other. Sugar learned that people could be kind, and Faith found confidence, strength, and a best friend in a horse that others had given up on.

Sugar wasn't just a horse. She was family, and she was the beginning of everything Wrights Mini Farm would become.

As our love for animals continued to grow, we took a leap and purchased a beautiful nine-acre farm with Faith's grandparents. It gave us the opportunity to build a life around the animals we loved and create memories together as a family.

Sadly, our time with Sugar was far too short. Losing her was heartbreaking, especially after everything she and Faith had been through together. Although Sugar is no longer physically with us, her memory will always be a part of our farm. Without her, our journey might never have begun.

Caring for our animals

At Wrights Mini Farm, family, compassion, honesty, and dedication guide everything we do. We are not a big commercial operation—every animal is known by name and treated with kindness and deep respect. We nurture our Nigerian Dwarf goats each morning, ensuring they live happy, healthy lives as beloved members of our farm family.

Handcrafted with farm fresh milk

We milk our goats ourselves and use that fresh milk to handcraft natural skincare products in small, careful batches. From milking and stirring to packaging and shipping, every single step is handled right here by our family. When you bring our lotions and soaps into your home, you are supporting real dreams built on second chances.

"We're not a big business with a production line. We're a family with a dream, a barn full of animals, and a whole lot of heart."
