🐴🎡 Fair Season Is Officially Over! 🎡🐴
We are officially done with fair season! We went to the Stoneboro Fair and honestly, we didn’t do too bad!
We got to hang out with a bunch of friends, make new memories, show off our wonderful animals, and even bring home some ribbons. ❤️ It may have rained and flooded the fairgrounds at the beginning of the week, but we got through it and still managed to have plenty of fun along the way!
Commander and I entered the costume contest and came home with 2nd place! 🥈 I have to say, he was the cutest little Indian horse I’ve ever seen! ❤️ We also got 4th place in halter, which I don’t think is too bad considering I’ve never done halter with him before.
I had planned on showing Eclipse in halter and doing some gaming with him, but he was just too nervous with everything going on. I’m starting to think the gaming and hectic fair life might not be for him, and that’s okay! We may just stick to quieter things with Eclipse and let Bugatti handle the gaming since she absolutely LOVES it. 😂🐎
After fair, Commander and I headed to 4-H Districts. It definitely wasn’t our greatest showing. I was exhausted after such a long fair week, and we didn’t place the way I had hoped.
But Commander and I gave it everything we had, and that’s what matters. ❤️
We learned a lot, made memories, had some laughs, and finished another fair season together.
There’s always next year! 🐴🍀❤️
Until then, I think the animals—and us—are ready for a little break!
